FRIDAY BAND

Alban Fùam
Italy - Veneto / 9:15 PM
After last year’s unplugged concert under the oak tree, this time Alban Fùam will open the Festival on the main stage.
Their name comes from Gaelic and means “a celebration of light and sound.” The band is an ensemble of Italian musicians whose spirit is deeply connected to Ireland – both in their hearts and in the notes they play.
Over the years, they have skillfully woven influences from folk, country, and bluegrass together with renowned traditional Irish melodies, bringing them back to life in a contemporary style.
Their aim is to transport the audience to the characteristic Irish pubs of the early 20th century, through a fusion of modern sounds and the rich musical heritage of a century.
The group was formed in 2009 and consists of Alessandro Antonello (vocals and bodhrán), Cecilia Zanchetta (violin), Lorenzo Lucchese (mandolin), Davide Florio (guitar), and Giovanni Franceschini (percussion).
